The YICCA International Contest of Contemporary Art (2025–26) invites artists from around the world to participate in one of the most dynamic global competitions for contemporary art. Open to both emerging and established artists, the contest provides a unique opportunity to gain visibility, connect with international curators and critics, and exhibit work in Venice, one of the world’s most significant art capitals.
YICCA welcomes submissions across a broad range of media — including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, graphics, mixed media, video, installation, and performance — celebrating the full spectrum of contemporary practice. The competition serves as a launchpad for artists seeking to enter the international market and expand their professional networks.
A total of 18 finalists will be selected to exhibit their work in Venice, with all participating artists featured in the official YICCA catalogue, distributed to professionals and institutions during the exhibition’s inauguration.
