In this introductory workshop, you will learn the skills of Linocut printmaking, in order to create your very own hand printed works on paper. This versatile and accessible technique can be applied to the creation of artist’s books, textile design, poster design and limited edition prints. This class will cover the steps of transferring your image to a lino block, carving your image, line work and cutting techniques, safety, correct inking of the block and hand printing.
