Learn how to screen print in a comprehensive 2 day course by ArtWorld Studio.
Day 1: Saturday 12th May, 10:00am – 2:00pm
  • Use of negative and positive space
  • Cutting detail into the positive stencil
  • The 4 Rs of Design: Repetition, Rotation, Reversal, Reduction
  • Producing sketches on paper, and cutting out with blades from light-weight easy-cut paper
  • Use of positive stencil shapes, being laid out to tell a story, and negative stencil shapes
  • Placing shapes in repetition.
+ A printing demonstration will also be held.
Day 2: Sunday 13th May, 12:00pm – 3:00pm
  • Inks, their properties, and their additives
  • The printing process using a screen and squeegee
  • Creating repeats from stencils
  • Colour blends and overlaying colour
  • Heat setting.
+ A question-and-answer session will also be held.
Cost: $175 + $25 material cost
