“Liminality can be understood in the anthropological sense to be a temporary transition through which identity is reconstructed, and/or it can be thought of as a more longitudinal experience of ambiguity and in-between-ness within a changeful context.” (Liminality and the practices of identity reconstruction by Nic Beech)
As artists we view the practise of art as a liminal space – of incomplete identity and ongoing self critique. The passage of a university degree was a toil we gladly chose but found agonising; one which often involved tears, sweat and sometimes blood. It also resulted in the most ambitious projects of our life (so far).
Stand on the threshold with us to say farewell to one identity and look forward to another.
