The masterclass provides you with an opportunity to build on your skills as a watercolour painter with renowned artist Sam Cranstoun. In this small and focused class, you will be guided through the process of taking pixelated images and rendering them in watercolour on grid paper. You will learn how to layer colours subtly, mixing shades and tones using a limited colour palette.
Brisbane-based visual artist, Sam Cranstoun, is a thoughtful, analytical creative whose practice spans drawing, painting, watercolour, sculpture, installation, video, and embroidery. Drawing on a dense archive of collected photographs and images, Sam’s practice examines the way that today’s image-saturated culture shapes our interpretation of the world, and ourselves
