Jan Manton Art is pleased to announce the upcoming exhibition, Stripped Back, by Brisbane-based artist, Dylan Jones.
In this exhibition of new paintings, Jones depicts the nude human form as a vehicle to express his ongoing obsession with the textural qualities of paint. Painted from life, these works reconsider the formal qualities of the human body, rather than revealing an intimate or emotional interaction with the sitter.
Please join us on Friday 8th March, 6 – 8pm for the opening of Stripped Back at Jan Manton Art- 1/93 Fortescue Street, Spring Hill. Concurrently, Melbourne-based artist, Michael Doolan’s Stories with Endings Changed will continue in gallery two.
