Water Keynote: Olafur Eliasson

Join renowned Danish-Icelandic artist and UNDP Goodwill Ambassador Olafur Eliasson Studio Olafur Eliasson for a talk tracing his artistic practice over the last twenty-five years. From early works like Beauty 1993, seminal installations like The weather project 2003, to his monumental work in the forthcoming ‘Water’ exhibition, Riverbed 2014 – Eliasson’s practice spans a broad range of media and inspires conversation about how art can turn thinking into doing in the world.

Following the keynote talk, Olafur Eliasson will be joined by Chris Saines, Director, QAGOMA for a Q&A.

Please note – this event is free and unbooked. Seating is limited, available on a first-in, first seated basis. To ensure equal access for all, seats cannot be reserved. GOMA doors will open and queueing for the event will commence at 7.15pm.
