The works in this exhibition were primarily created during three residencies and through my involvement with Turps London School of Art in 2023/2024. Each piece is distinctly influenced by the place where it was made, yet when viewed together, they form a cohesive body of work. At the core of it all are the relationships between elements—form, colour, and space. These connections mirror my relationships with nature, people, and animals.

The exhibition’s title came from a whimsical thought, but after some research, I discovered the moon actually has a tail. This revelation amused me and speaks to the unseen connections in the world, in each other, and in the universe. My paintings often attempt to surface these elusive connections; this body of work is no exception.
