E.SUN International Art Prize

Deadline:

Deadline: July 17

Black Door Gallery invites painters to apply for the E.SUN International Art Prize, a global painting award established by E.SUN Bank in Taiwan, offering a total prize pool of approximately USD $130,000.

This international prize celebrates contemporary painting across diverse styles and approaches, encouraging artists to engage with one or more of three open themes: Mt. Jade (Yushan), Music, and Sustainability. Each theme offers a broad conceptual framework, inviting interpretations that explore landscape, emotion, culture, and environmental consciousness.

Open to works in oil, acrylic, and gouache, the prize focuses on originality, technical strength, and conceptual depth. Selected artists will receive significant recognition, including monetary awards, official certification, and inclusion in a published collection of winning works.

The International category includes a First Prize, up to three Special Prizes, and up to five Merit Awards. Finalists will be announced in September 2026 via E.SUN Bank’s official platform.

Artists should note specific submission requirements, including size restrictions (maximum 72.5 × 91 cm), and shipping conditions for selected works.

Supported by Black Door Gallery, this prize offers Australian artists a pathway to international exposure and engagement within a global painting context.
