The Willoughby Emerging Art Prize is returning after a 19-year hiatus, relaunching as a prize dedicated to supporting and celebrating the next generation of Australian artists.
Originally established in 1983, the prize has been revived by Willoughby City Council with a renewed commitment to emerging artists. A total prize pool of $15,000 will be awarded to the winners, generously supported by the Civic Place Trust.
