15 Artists is an annual acquisitive prize developed to enhance the City of Moreton Bay Art Collection and exhibition program. Each year, 15 artists are invited by City of Moreton Bay Galleries to exhibit recent work, showcasing diverse artistic voices and ideas. The winning artist receives $20,000, and their work is acquired into Council’s Art Collection.
The 2026 exhibiting artists are Adrian Charles Smith, Amanda Bennetts, Bella Deary, Charlie Donaldson, Danish Quapoor, Dean Ansell, John A. Robinson, Karen Stephens, Kirralee Robinson, Miguel Aquilizan, Miranda Hine, Norton Fredericks, Sally Molloy, Sam Harrison and Savannah Jarvis.
The 2026 winner is Savannah Jarvis, with Two patients try to explain nociplastic pain to one another. The work explores chronic pain, using houses as metaphors for the body to reflect the different ways pain is experienced, understood and communicated.
Guest judge Katherine Dionysius praised the work for its depth, noting that it rewards slow looking and continues to occupy the viewer’s thoughts after leaving the gallery.
