Tempest brings together 21 contemporary artists from Brisbane, across Queensland and beyond, each offering their own interpretation of turbulence, transformation and change.
Featuring local and regional artists including Andrew K, Nicole Fearfield, Trisha Lambi, Angie Summa, Jennifer Bell, Kathleen Rhee, Rachel Prince, Kate Chadwick and Claire Stapleton, the exhibition explores the many forms a tempest can take, from emotional and psychological upheaval to the forces of nature.
Through painting, colour, texture and diverse artistic perspectives, Tempest celebrates the depth and diversity of contemporary artistic practice.
The exhibition is presented at The Brisbane Gallery in Taringa until 7 November 2026.
