Logan’s new cultural precinct opens on January 29 and we’re inviting you to come and celebrate!
When the sun goes down the Launch Party starts on the massive open Outdoor Stage.
We’ll be marking the arrival of Logan’s first-ever cultural precinct with a host of local legends, culture, and spectacle, with the Logan community at the heart of it all.
Don’t miss Chris Tamwoy with special guest Tania Rose Gibuma, live on the big stage.
Reflecting the incredible diversity of Logan we will be mixing it up with cultural and contemporary music, dance, visual and spoken word performances. Opening with a Welcome to Country by Auntie Robin Williams followed by a Traditional Smoking Ceremony and Cultural Dance by the Nunukul Yuggera Aboriginal Dancers, and a host of other local Logan talent featuring: Imanzi Rwandan Cultural group, Heilani Productions, The Mammas Boy Collective, LUATÈ, MR.MR, 4114 collective, Te Tai Mauri and many more.
Public transport is one of the best ways to get to the Launch Party event. Gates open at 5.30pm with entertainment from 6.30pm.
