Thomas Payne, A QUT undergrad/never-grad, who has been regarded amongst his peers as ‘cool’ and even in some cases “very cool”. Tom’s practice draws a heavy influence from online grunge or digital Avant-garde (tumblr). His work is often multifaceted, hyper detailed surfaces made of digital collages and renders packed with contrasting colours and textures.
