SVENJA KRATZ’s interdisciplinary creative practice explores the intersections between science and art. In her solo exhibition, Non-Linear Histories, Kratz investigates connections between different forms of life, with a focus on kinship and co-evolution. She presents a non-linear narrative with the body as a multi-species assemblage of shared genetic material. Incorporating mediums from resin to DNA, the works’ patterns, forms and repetition reflect imagery of microorganisms, cellular structures, ripples, galaxies and topographical maps, sparking ideas of coexistence on a large scale.
OPENING EVENT: 5-7pm Saturday July 15
