Deadline:

Webb Gallery, QCA

Artists: Rachael Wellisch and Emma Gardner

Wild Remembering features new work from Emma Gardner and Rachael Wellisch. The exhibition is a dual exploration of vulnerability and strength. Both artists curiously explore their positions as global and highly conscious citizens, simultaneously learning from and contributing to the multi-narratival histories of textile production, image construction and intricate relationships between the environment and human intervention within it.

This is Wild Remembering in its initial stage, it will then be presented in shifting formations at, the Darwin Fringe Festival, Basement-Wein Gallery (Vienna, Austria), and for its final iteration at Onespace (Brisbane) in early 2019.

Wild Remembering is presented with the support of Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.

Opening Event: Friday, 22 June, 6 – 8pm
Where: Webb Gallery, QCA, 226 Grey St, Southbank, QLD 4101
