Now in it’s third year the Queensland Figurative is a major non-aquisitive competition offering Queensland artists an excellent opportunity to participate in a major art event, entrants are invited to submit paintings containing the human figure contextualised as an integral part of the composition, this year’s judge Archibald winner Lewis Miller will join the ranks of previous judges such as Wendy Sharpe and Frank Giacco. The Queensland Figurative is a part of the RQAS Biennial this program includes feature exhibitions, gala opening night events, artists talks, a fashion parade, live music and more.
