Everyone is invited to join us for the biggest event of the year – 2018 Art from the Margins Outsider Art Awards Exhibition.
For the past 11 years, Art from the Margins has been exhibiting the work of artists living with mental health issues, physical or intellectual disabilities, homelessness or experiencing social isolation. AFTM has been instrumental in encouraging artists to create and share their unique, truthful and inspiring work, more than 1,000 artists have participated since 2008.
The AFTM Outsider Art Awards exhibition will feature painting, drawing, photography, sculpture and showcases artists’ studio groups from the SEQ region.
Come along! Please bring your friends and family to enjoy the feast of art, read the artists stories and vote for People’s Choice Award and, new this year, Children’s Choice Award and Art Trail Activity! Don’t miss out this wonderful exhibition.Admission is free – all are welcome.
