Shivanjani Lal’s exhibition Yaad Karo looks at the history of migration that links her personal history to the indentured labour communities of India and the Pacific. It consists of 140 hand stitched maps and images from the artists’ grandmother’s archive. The exhibition creates a visible link between Lal and those communities by stitching together both personal and collective history.

The gallery is free to visit. Visiting hours are 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday and 2pm to 4pm Saturday.
