Being: the state of existing i.e., being present in nature.

Being explores different ways of looking at and experiencing the environment. Through this exhibition, Redcliffe-based artist John A. Robinson, uses the mathematical concept of fractals to decipher and depict the landscapes around him. This body of new works were created after observing the fractal nature of mangrove roots and tidal detritus washed up on the mud flats in Deception Bay. It reveals Robinson’s current approach to looking at and connecting with the natural world.
