Brisbane Powerhouse

The World Press Photo Exhibition 2025 returns to Brisbane Powerhouse as part of its global tour, presenting the most powerful and thought-provoking photojournalism from the past year.

Selected from over 59,000 entries submitted by nearly 3,800 photographers from 141 countries, the winning images document global issues, intimate personal stories, and pivotal moments in recent history. Curated by an independent jury of 31 photography professionals led by Lucy Conticello (Director of Photography at Le Monde’s M magazine), this annual exhibition offers a profound visual archive of contemporary life.

Visitors are invited to engage with photography that inspires conversation and reflection—on conflict, humanity, resilience, and change.
