The LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize is an international award celebrating innovation, artistic vision, and mastery in contemporary craft. Open to professional artists and artisans worldwide—including Brisbane-based makers—the prize seeks outstanding works that update traditional techniques or introduce new approaches to materials and process.

Prize:

  • Winner: €50,000

  • Two Special Mentions: €5,000 each

  • Up to 30 finalists will have their work exhibited in Singapore in Spring 2026.

Eligibility:

  • Professional artists/artisans aged 18+ from any country.

  • Work must be original, handmade or partially handmade, one-of-a-kind, and created within the last five years.

  • All craft-based disciplines considered (ceramics, textiles, metal, wood, glass, jewellery, leather, furniture, paper, enamel, and more).

  • Must not have won another major award.
