Undergrowth is an invitational exhibition showcasing some of the most innovative and conceptually coherent work being produced at a second-year undergraduate level at the Queensland College of Art and Design, Griffith University. The exhibiting works have been nominated by academic staff as exemplary of QCAD’s high standards of material inquiry and disciplinary knowledge.
The exhibition presents a dynamic survey of the thinking and practices of undergraduate artists and highlights the vital role of contemporary art students within the broader visual arts landscape.
This year’s exhibition features 24 undergraduate students across the visual arts, including:
Ploi Bates, Renee Callope, Katie Davis, Makayla Dass, Briana Foster, Lulu Geraghty, Natalie Hall, Eliza Hinton, Safron Holford, Krystal Hurst, Bee Jennings, Martina Latimer, Evzen Lore, Ana Manzur-Allan, Rachel McLatchey, Chelsea Roberge, Ebony Spurway, Kyra Synnott, Vincent Vallance, Lone Veirup, Ailsa Walsh, James Weston, Ebony Wright and Tzu-Hsin Yang.
