Who Are These People? brings together photography students from four leading Australian art schools: the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), Australian National University (ANU), University of New South Wales (UNSW) and Queensland College of Art and Design (QCAD).
Each institution has selected four students from across its photography program, spanning undergraduate through to doctoral study. The exhibition highlights the diverse material and conceptual concerns emerging within contemporary photography education, from historical photographic processes to high-end digital production techniques.
The exhibition also explores a range of approaches to subjects including the environment, the body and representation.
