L.M. Noonan is an established Queensland artist with a unique voice and strong aesthetic. Noonan uses pre-existing and recognizable imagery to tap into the subconscious, engaging with image fragments in an intuitive process of re-assembly and remix. Simple Interventions is an exhibition that challenges the notion of traditional collage and assemblage techniques to instead create moments of abstract connection that are at times uncomfortable and yet strangely familiar.
