Jasmine Mansbridge: Roaming Geometry

Deadline:

15 June
-
June 23
Side Gallery

Jasmine’s signature geometry-based paintings aid the artist’s exploration of “the beauty and poignancy of time and the bitter nature of love and loss”. Roaming Geometry is Jasmine’s second exhibition at Side Gallery, initially showing I AM THE MUSE in 2021. The exhibition was a resounding successful sell-out show, and it is clear that the audience resonates with the bold, refined and vibrant geometry-based portals and painted compositions which Jasmine is so well known for.

Jasmine is a professional practising artist whose work is best described as the meeting of exploration and refinement. Jasmine has taken her art to a number of mediums — sculpture, large-scale public works and intimate paintings for private collections. She is not afraid to venture outside an established comfort zone. Whatever her choice of art form, Mansbridge brings a refined and meticulous hand to the work; her deliberation and contemplation are always evident.
The work provokes thought and wonder and allows the viewer to apply their personal storytelling as they unpack the geometry and portals of Mansbridge’s imagined world.
