Lethbridge Gallery

This exhibition builds on Matt’s trademark approach exploring the movement and drama of the natural world. The collection sees Matt turn his attention upwards, with a series of works predominantly representing the patterns of the sky.

The paintings aim to show a split-second moment in time, whilst capturing the ever-changing and eternal flow of nature.

In a busy world, Matt’s works asks us to take the time to stop and look around us, and to appreciate our environment. His work aims to appeal to the viewer’s basic instincts and their response to the surroundings.

Matt’s collection is atmospheric – sometimes dark – but shows us that, like the changing conditions, brighter times often follow dark…in f
air weather and foul.
