Incinerator Gallery is a platform for unique cultural experiences that connect society through art and design. Share a proposal to exhibit at Incinerator in 2027.
Established in 2011 in Aberfeldie, near the Mirrangbamurn/Maribyrnong River, Incinerator Gallery encourages social interaction, discovery, knowledge sharing, learning and development. It welcomes communities, art professionals, students and people of all ages with an interest in art, design and architecture.
Housed within the iconic Essendon Incinerator, designed by Marion Mahony Griffin and Walter Burley Griffin, the gallery offers a range of distinctive spaces that invite creative response and engagement.
The call-out to exhibit in 2027 at Incinerator Gallery presents an opportunity for artists with a connection to the area, Moonee Valley and the wider Kulin Nation, to apply for exhibition opportunities in The Atrium, Main Gallery or Boadle Hall. Applications are welcome from solo artists, curators and collectives.

Successful applicants will receive:
- An artist or curatorial fee to exhibit, based on NAVA rates ($928–$5,555)
- A 7–12 week exhibition in one of three galleries across the Incinerator complex
- Curatorial assistance
- Marketing support
- A public program development opportunity
- An official opening alongside other exhibitions
